Dr Adam Brownhill - Chippenham Adam is a GP in Calne. Formerly a member of another BASICS scheme in Wales (MEDSERVE), Adam is now a partner in Northlands Surgery in Calne. His dogs Casper & Mutley keep him on the straight & narrow. They live in Sandy Lane. Adam is Joint Chairman and one of the Medical Trustees of SWIFT Medics. |

Dr Jonathan Glover - Marlborough Jonathan is a GP in Marlborough. He graduated from Aberdeen in 1990 and spent a further six years undertaking surgical and GP training before joining the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Australia and then formal Emergency Medicine training until returning to the UK in 2000. Jonathan has been a partner at the Marlborough Medical Practice since 2002. He is married to Sophie & they have a son Youssef. Jonathan is the other Joint Chairman and Medical Trustees of SWIFT Medics. |

Mr James Dunn - Swindon James is an emergency medicine senior specialist registrar for the North Bristol NHS Trust, working at Frenchay Hospital and the BRI he lives in Swindon. |

Dr Ed Valentine Ed has recently moved to Corsham with his wife Leah, two young children and two cats. Having grown up in Somerset, Ed went on to qualify from Southampton University Medical School in 2002, married a Wiltshire girl in 2004 and currently works as a full time specialist registrar in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care, with a particular interest in pre-hospital care. Ed is very keen to help develop the pre-hospital service offered to the people of Wiltshire by SWIFT Medics. |

Dr James Mapstone James is a Public Health Consultant. His main job is as the clinical director for urgent and emergency care for South Central Strategic Health Authority. His main interest is to ensure the smooth whole pathway for care for critically ill patients, from prevention to rehabilitation. He has published on the effectiveness of fluorescent and reflective materials on preventing injury, fluid resuscitation regimens, the effectiveness of high frequency ventilation and how intensive care units should prepare for radiological incidents. He also responds as a BASICS doctor in Berkshire and the Thames Valley. |

Dr Philip Lucas Philip is an RAF doctor, previously a paramedic & an RAF pilot before that. He has spent time working with the RAF Mountain Rescue Service before flying the Hercules. He qualified in medicine at Bristol in 2009. Philip lives in Colerne and works at the Royal United Hospital, Bath and will soon start training as a Medical Officer in the Royal Air Force. He is married with 2 children, is involved with his local church and enjoys climbing and hill-walking when he gets the time. Philip though fully qualified & with considerable experience already is currently in a training role before independently responding for SWIFT Medics. |

Prof. Charles Deakin Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist, Southampton General Hospital, and Medical Director of the South Central Ambulance Service, Hampshire Division. Previous chairman of BASICS Hampshire and a leading member of the team that established the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. Charles is on the Resuscitation Council & JRCALC he is also the airway & pre-hospital anaesthesia lead for SWIFT Medics. |

Dr Fiona Jewkes - Andover Having spent ten years as a consultant paediatrician, Fiona retrained as a GP and now works for the NHS Pathways Team. She has been a past Medical Director for the then Wiltshire Ambulance Service and is now the Clinical Lead for the Ambulance Service Association, a BASICS Trustee, Examiner for the Diploma in Immediate Medical Care and president of the British Paramedic Association. Her real expertise lies in pre-hospital emergency paediatric care. |
