BMW Dick Lovett Hungerford
Dick Lovett BMW Hungerford has donated a brand new 3 Series Touring xDrive as an Emergency Response Vehicle to SWIFT Medics.  Since coming online the SWIFT Medics Dick Lovett Response Vehicle has attended multiple serious incidents many of which have been featured in local and national news.
Improved Response
The major role for the SWIFT Medics Dick Lovett vehicle is to improve our response to incidents. The vehicle currently carries enhanced equipment that previously we were not able to provide.
Improved Safety
One huge benefit of having a marked response car is enhanced safety for members of our team.
A great example of this is shown in the picture taken at an incident on the M4.  The fully marked Dick Lovett Response Car was used to protect the scene dramatically improving the safety of our responder and members of the public.

“Very solid and feels good to drive in an emergency.  Certainly feel safe.”
Dr Phil Lucas,  RAF GP and SWIFT Medics Doctor

Haine & Smith opticians

SWIFT Medics was the nominated charity for Wiltshire-based opticians Haine & Smith for 2014-15.  In July members of the charity went to Haine & Smith’s Marlborough practice – one of the first two to open in 1975 – to receive a cheque for £1,111.77 from practice manager Malcolm Lee.
The money was raised from SWIFT Medics’ collection tins placed in Haine & Smith’s 19 practices across Wiltshire and the surrounding area, along with fund-raising events held by staff.
Rachel Wheeler, Haine & Smith Marketing Manager, said: “One of our goals as an established local business is to invest back in the communities we serve.  The vital work carried out by SWIFT Medics perfectly reflects that goal so is a cause we have been pleased to support.”
Earlier in the year, a £2,180 donation from the firm bought a new medical bag fully kitted out with vital equipment.  The kit was used within hours of being handed over after SWIFT Medics doctors Jonathan Glover and Constantin Jarbarin were called to a patient with an open dislocation of the ankle.
